Welcome to Gamma, Nefarious Chicken!
Guys this chicken even looks like me. It wears a scarf!!!!!
A new medium for sharing ideas
We're building a new format in between docs and slides called a memo. You can write a memo and share it asynchronously, just like a document. You can also make it beautiful and present it live, just like a slide deck.
This is a card. Like a slide, meant to be relatively short and easy to digest. Try clicking here and typing inside it. You can click the purple + button below to add a new card, or use the ... to delete it. Tip: you can undo anything by hitting Z.
You can also add comments and reactions to every card using the buttons below. Try adding a 👍 to this one now. Click the Share button in the top toolbar to invite your coworkers to edit with you or leave comments.
Present like a slide deck
Unlike traditional slides, Gamma docs are meant to stand on their own. But sometimes, you need to focus everyone's attention on one thing at a time.
Try hitting the ▶️ button in the top toolbar. Now, you'll see just one card at a time. Use your keyboard to move around:
  • Use the ⬅️ ➡️ keys to jump between cards
  • Use the ⬆️ ⬇️ keys to focus on one line at a time
  • Hit Esc to get out.
You can present live through Gamma without screenshare. Just click someone's face to follow them. You can follow along, or explore before and after. You can even comment and react during a presentation, and double click to edit text.
Write like a doc
We think you should be able to create something presentable without fussing over the design. So just click anywhere and start typing. Some tips and tricks:
  • You can make bullets by typing -, 1. or [] (todos)
  • Drag over text to format it - you can bold, link, and more
  • Type / to add rich blocks like images and tables
  • Use : to make an :emoji: 😀
  • Check me
  • I'm done
Make it beautiful
Docs don't have to be boring. Try clicking the Theme button in the top toolbar to change the styling of your entire document or add a background. You can also click the paintbrush icon below to style an individual card.
Our vision is to take all the fuss out of creating beautiful slides, while also letting you create interactions that wouldn't be possible in a traditional deck. A big focus is interactivity. Try clicking on the Wikipedia article below. You can embed many pages and apps like this directly in Gamma.
